It's slightly less breathable and durable than full-grain but offers a cleaner, more consistent look, ideal for sleek, minimalist styles. Genuine leather is a marketing term that actually indicates lower quality; it's heavily processed and prone to cracking. Bonded leather, made from shredded leather scraps and adhesives, is the lowest tier and has no place in our workshop. Hardware That Endures. The hardware on a bag — buckles, zippers, clasps, and rivets — must withstand daily use without compromising function or appearance. We source our hardware from European artisans who specialize in precision metalwork, using solid brass, stainless steel, and bronze that resist tarnishing and maintain their beauty. Each piece is tested for durability, corrosion resistance, and ease of use. A zipper should glide smoothly for years without jamming; a clasp should secure firmly yet release effortlessly; a buckle should fasten with a satisfying click. The finish matters too: we choose between polished, matte, or antique finishes to complement the design, always prioritizing quality that endures.
